We're building an international B2B marketplace for the used-textiles trade, and we need a hands-on accountant to run the numbers behind it. You'll own the complete finance function, from day-to-day bookkeeping and VAT to payroll, reporting, budgeting and UAE regulatory compliance, and keep us in good standing as we grow.

UAE residents only. This role needs a valid, transferable UAE residency visa.

We don't offer relocation, and out-of-country applications aren't reviewed.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day bookkeeping, record every transaction, and reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways and cash.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and maintain the general ledger, accruals and prepayments.
  • Run accounts receivable and payable, and process monthly payroll including salaries, commissions, bonuses and incentives.
  • Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns, and handle Corporate Tax calculations and records.
  • Forecast cash flow, monitor liquidity and operating expenses, and report weekly, monthly and annually.
  • Keep the company compliant with MOHRE, the Federal Tax Authority, free-zone and immigration authorities, and keep trade licenses, establishment cards, labour files and tax registrations renewed on time.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of UAE accounting experience, hands-on with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting.
  • Strong across accounts receivable, accounts payable and multi-company accounting.
  • Confident with accounting software and able to own the books end to end.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
